a nice busy day...

alright, so today was a busy day, which is a rare thing for me. I'll write it out for anyone who wants to know.

So, the day started with me getting to go to school early since i didn't have to wait on Megan; she had a fever. Anyways, i got through my first two classes without completely falling asleep and got back home for lunch. Nothing going on there except Megan looking not so sick; I headed back to school. My next class was photography and i got to do my Photogram finaly and finish up some work i had been needing to do.

Last class i got to skip in favor of doing work in stagecraft, my now-favorite class. Since im not afraid of heights, i was elected to go up the ladder that is about 20' high and put up tape grids on the flats at the top. after that i got to do more grids, dutching, odd jobs, and finaly putting up the final flat piece and finish some cosmetic work on one of the doors of the set. I really enjoyed doing it and I will probably work more on it sunday afternoon from 1-4.

After school, i took skylar to the mall so he could by his homecoming clothes. we were there for about and hour or so before we left and he bought me food at wendys. then we went to taco Js and he got himself some food, went back to my house, got a hoody, and headed to his house. He ate and I watched TV until we left for the football game, first picking up Jamal. Once the game started, we mosied around the seats and around the concessions until sklyars girlfriend showed up and we settled down for a while.

When the game was over, we dropped by my house for a short stop before making our way to 'Old Chicago' for some food. We talked it over and decided to go to a supposedly haunted location. I was a little anxious to go there, since ive been paying more attention to the subject lately. So, we finished up, left, and i followed Sang, skylars girlfriend, to a parking lot where she left her car. She, her four friends, skylar, jamal, and me got in the van. I drove around this private neighborhood, took several wrong turns and finaly ended up where we wanted to go. In the front, its a large, well lit house, surrounded by high stone fenced, and two large gates at the entrance and exit of the drive way. in the back, there was a three car garage, a large carport structure with a huge outdoor chandelier. We drove around the back, parked just outside of the circle drive, and i turned off the lights, everyone seemed anxious. some upset. i asked what you were supposed to do, intending to do it. they told me to walk to the gate and listen and look for small children playing;the story went that they had been killed there. So, i took off my seatbelt, opened to the door as i heard the voices in the van rise in fear. excitement. wonder? maybe. i got out, and went into the street. looked around for a while, got back in the van, they told me i didnt go far enough, and i got back out. again, the wonder. i walked up to the gate and looked in. i was close enough to actualy touch the gates, but something told me i shouldnt, so i didnt. i stood at the gates for less than 20 seconds, enough time for me to listen in silence, see the lights around the house, and then i turned back. but thats not right, i didnt turn my back, i walked backwards until i was back on the street.

i got back in the van and everyone seemed surprised i had done it, went as far as to call me a 'crazy man'. i was shaking. bad. and after everyone except skylar was dropped off, he told me sang had been so upset that she had been crying, i immediately felt sorry i had gone. given the chance, i dont think i would have gone with her and her friends there. maybe just me and one other person.

anyways, that was my night, not ghosts, but it was...fun...just the same, a nice busy day.
