You're alive! How are you doing? :D

Did they translate Persona 2 or are they skipping straight to 3, then? I know I have the first one lying around here somewhere...

Hi! I've been following you on your LJ, even if I haven't been commenting. I've been doing pretty well. 2009 was a much nicer year than 2010.

They haven't released a new port/translation of Persona 2, yet, though I'm assuming they will. Recently, there was a fan translation released of the first Persona 2 game, the one that never made it in English.

The persona 3 port has a female protagonist route added (hence why I'm so excited), with social links with different characters.

I hope 2010 gets better for you. :)

I didn't realize that they hadn't brought Persona 2 it to the states. My boyfriend is a big fan of the series, but I'm just starting to get into it... I'll have to try the female route in 3 when it comes out!

I've never actually played Persona 2, but from what I understand, it's a series of two games. The first one starred a male protaganist and was never released in English. (From what I understand, it had some potentially offensive content for Western sensibilities, such as being able to choose a male as a love interest for the male protaganist, and reviving Hitler)

The second one starred a female protaganist in a sort of alternate but related universe to #1. That one was actually released in English.
