One advantage of having a skinny baby is, 12 weeks later, we're still using newborn nappies... Newborn nappies come 108 to a box for about $35. I think boxes of infant nappies offer considerably fewer nappies for the same price

At last weekly weight check, she was 4.2kgs, or approx 9lbs 2oz. Next weekly weight check is on Friday, so she will hopefully have gained another 200grams by then. It's a slow process, but at least we're making progress!
I did cloth nappies for all my babies!! It wasn't too bad. We had a big dog too back then so it was just all about cleaning up after one thing or another LOL! I used disposables when we went out though. I saw there are these new things, kind of thick nappy things that are shaped like disposables that you can wash. I think they're really expensive though. My philosophy that comes with age *snort* and three babies is just do whatever you can do and that makes you the best mother you can be. I think if you and the baby are okay, it doesn't matter what other people are doing. And I think it sounds like you've got that mastered *g*
If A was a summer baby, I may have been more inclined to switch to cloth... or not...!! The "new cloth" nappies that are shaped like disposables are the ones I had thought about using, but they are expensive. Still, they are cheaper in the long run than disposables, but not as convenient.
I will revisit the cloth decision again at some point, but I strongly suspect I'll be sticking with the disposables!
We're using cloth and it is an extra chore each night. We only have enough all-in-one dipes to last through about a day and a half, and since we're taking them to daycare we're doing lots of laundry. Still, I'm glad that the daycare will let us send them cloth diapers and aren't averse to using them!
I'm still kind of sick of doing laundry, though ;-p
Cloth nappies, breastfeeding and back at work --- you are a superwoman in my eyes. And I mean that seriously. It's 11.00am here and I've only just managed a shower...
