Pins and needles

A had her four-month vaccinations today. Unlike last time, she wasn't too pleased with the oral vaccination for gastro (last time she swallowed it like it was the tastiest thing ever!), and there was also much more crying from the needles. She's doing really well today, so looks like we've escaped any nasty side effects. Phew!

What's gastro vaccine? I don't think they have that here. I'm glad that she was ok with the needle, but I'm sorry it went worse than last time.

In Aus they get vaccinated against Rotavirus which is the most common cause of severe gastroenteritis. It's fairly new (well, was introduced in 2007) and is administered at the 2,4 and 6 month immunisations.
