I really enjoyed this book, which leaves me with mixed feelings about Steinbeck as a whole. East of Eden is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read. Of Mice and Men was alright- a little vulgar really. The Grapes of Wrath, however, was exhausting. I don’t usually enjoy a lot of description in books. hey thanks! i took a brief hiatus.

The Grapes of Wrath is actually my least favorite out of the Steinbeck books I've read (East of Eden, To a God Unknown, Of Mice and Men, and The Grapes of Wrath) Those are in order favorite to least favorite, but of course opinions are relative. Read away.
