Elisa likes Franklin a lot, or at least, she does now that she's gotten past the whole "looks like Thailog" thing. Granted, his entire universe weirds her out just a little (she's just the littlest bit jealous of their Goliath and Elisa), but it's a good place.
More importantly, he makes Gwen happy, which is something that makes her very happy. Minus the slight weirdness of a young version of Goliath's ex dating a memory-wiped version of his clone, of course.
And, of course, she'd trust him to the ends of the earth to safeguard her friends and children. She's discovered him to be an amazingly gentle and truly innocent soul.
Elisa's terribly fond of River, in somewhat of a parental sort of way, even though she's really too close to her in age for the numbers there to actually work.
Of course, this translates into a great amount of concern for her and all the things she does. She really believes that no one River's age should have to deal with stuff like that.
And, of course, she finds it very sad that River doesn't even seem to want a normal life.
Another one of Elisa's friends, albeit one she probably doesn't know as much about.
Outside of having originally been a bit surprised by the concept of a female robot, Elisa quite likes Atalanta. Anybody who can fight the kind of battles she has, for as long as she gets a pretty high estimation in her eyes. Though, of course, that long a war is really hard for her to wrap her mind around. Ata's a good, brave, kind person, all qualities Elisa holds in high regard.
She also knows Ata's suffered some tragedies of late, so she's highly sympathetic toward that, willing to offer whatever support she can.
More than that, though, Ata's confirmation that, basically, people are the same wherever you go no matter what shape they come in.
Given the lives they lead, it's no surprise they haven't talked much.
As for tragedies, she hasn't known the lost as much as she'd like... And this kind of loss she's had to get used to. There was a time where she didn't let herself too close to people because of that, but was mostly before ending up in the Nexus.
Icy makes Lex happy, so she gets big points just for that.
But frankly, Icy's also the least "Gargoyle"-ish Gargoyle Elisa's ever encountered. Not so good at flying, sleeps, not much of a fighter, timid, and puzzlingly enough, immune to magic.
Despite all this, Elisa loves Icy like any other member of the Clan, though she's inclined to be just a bit more protective of her than some of the others. She trusts her to have her back in a fight and would leave any of the children under her care in a heartbeat. She'll also fight fiercely to protect her, if it came down to it.
She's just a bit critical of Icy's overwhelming shyness and times of lapsing into enforced silence, but is learning to be a bit mellower about it and to just believe that that's the way Icy is at times.
