There's a Tom Cruise weekend on TV and currently I'm actually watching or trying to watch "Top Gun". The problem is that HAHA! I can't watch this movie soberly - it's just too corny. Most of those blockbuster type movies that were soooo popular at the time they were released don't really age that well. Often, I'll watch a film once & enjoy it; then upon a second viewing, even a few weeks later, I'll be all "wtf?!"

I think it's me who has changed so much over the years so that's why "Top Gun" really can't in my TOP 10 movies... :D Val Kilmer was quite hot looking in "Top Gun" though.. *ponders*

And true, even a few year's difference can make your pov change enough you don't really enjoy the same types of movies.
