Madonna's
Skin brings memories from long, long way from past...
"Do I know you from somewhere?
Why do you leave me wanting more?"
No. I don't wish to collaborate more than that to you.

If I'd need to pick "the song" by Don Johnson Band, it would have to be
Salt Water. It has this comforting melancholy, which for some reason never fails to get me a bit better mood.
"Deep in this blue moment holding me tight
I turn around and travel back to the beginning
Plan to stay there all night
No preventing the fact that time is ticking faster
But i'm past the point where losing a day is a disaster
Last a minute more than the mind ever expected
Find a memory, connect it to a december week, in effect it's
The summer washed away, these moments getting shorter
I still remember sleeping in the smell of salt water"

IMHO, one of the best songs from year 2007 has to be Interpol's
Pioneer to the Falls. Every time I listen to it, I seem to find something new from it. Also I love it how it creates these 'no.words' feelings.

I'm not the Cardigans fan at all. But they do have one excellent song, which I recently re-discovered ->
Erase-Rewind.
"Yes, I said it's fine before
I don't think so no more
I said it's fine before
I've changed my mind
I take it back"
Yeah, I've changed my mind, and I have a right to do it, damn it.

I had a dinner yesterday with one of these people I have met here in Worcester, and in one point we were talking about movies. One of my favorites, which I forgot to mention to him, is
Collateral. It's directed by Michael Mann, the man who I really dig. He didn't fail me with this movie either, the movie rocks. Totally. Even Cruise does. :P Everything was quite perfect there, including the music in the scenes. One of the songs, which really stands out for me is the one used in "Club Fever shootout", and that's Paul Oakenfold's
Ready Steady Go (remix). That is some masterpiece. Gotta give respect to Oakenfold for that. But the movie also is really something, which everyone should check out, it's just that great. Definitely in my TOP 10 favourite movies list, which reminds me that I so want to see some Bruce Willis stuff again, and badly. But that's totally other story already...

Sunday was one of my Muse days. Muse is the band, which I can just listen on repeat, and long time. Their latest album Black Holes And Revelations is quite perfect for that. The Muse songs, yes it's plural this time, would be
Knights of Cydonia and
Cave. Cave was originally the song, which woke up my Muse interest and from the new album, it's Knights of Cydonia, which really got me hooked on the band again. So much awesomeness there. I can honestly say that I do not understand people who do not listen to this band, there's gotta be something wrong with them. Seriously. So don't confess me that you don't listen to this band unless you wish to be appear a total loser in my eyes... but that's one option also.. so do as you like, but don't talk to me again in that case. :P

If I were needed to play the game: "Which albums you would take with you to the deserted island?", I guess one of the records, which I would definitely take to the island would be Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia. It has so many cools songs such as
Sleep,
Godless, and of course
Bohemian Like You... The latter one being the rock n' roll song I truly heart. Oh man, now I really wish I could see the band in a gig...

I started last fall again my "get fit and healthy" routine, which has been seriously lacking any kind of decent effort. But on the hand, I have had some health problems, which have prevented me to do so much, but now I feel quite energetic and really enjoying to go jogging or attending to Body Attack and Body Balance classes. Body Balance is a mixture of tai chi, pilates and yoga. It keeps me grounded and creates at least for a short moment some kind of calm feeling inside me. One of the songs, which I relate to word calm, is the one I discovered just by accident here in last.fm and that's
B Minor. Definitely a tune, which is worth of checking out when you need to chill out for a bit before facing the next challenges of the day...

Sometimes there are just these 'whatever' days, when you feel like going all the time to people 'yeah.whatever'. Luckily we have here Liam Lynch, who actually has written a song about the topic. It's
United States of Whatever. HAHA.
Oh, whatever.

Oh well, might as well admit it, because you can see it from the charts anyway.. so yeah, I do have one (eh, there might others too, but let's not confess all of them at once :P) guilty pleasure in music wise, and that's listening Justin Timberlake. Whew. Feels rather good writing it here publicly, so yep, I have come out of the Justin!closet. I absolutely think he genius and well, of course v. fine looking man also. :P Quite 'je ne sais quoi' guy you know... And the song
SexyBack is v. sexy indeed. Good song to played in pre-party thingys.

One of my dreams would be living in a loft. I'm fascinated by the idea of open space, tall and big windows, old brick walls and the wooden beams, otherwise it would be just plain white all over the place. I tried to find a photo of that kind of loft, but didn't succeed in that. And unfortunately I can't draw it either. I managed find one photo though, which somewhat resembles the loft I'd want to have.
And the music, which would be played here of course varies from punk to chill out kind of stuff. From the latter one,
Subzero, would be quite perfect example...
