Actually, reading that reminded me of why I would never want to be a paramedic....I don't think I'd mentally be able to take situations like those on a regular basis :(

...especially where you have to explain these things to kids...especially if what you have to explain is their own quickly impending mortality as they lie in the back of the ambulance... *sighs*

I wouldnt want to ever have to work on you either.. but if you needed me I would do my best. although you are moving down to texas so you will have to rely on those medics instead :)

CONGRATULATIONS! I've done the EMT B only course & I know how much time & effort & studying that alone took while trying to work & having a child & being a single parent. I don't know what your situation is, but just the B was work~~ Paramedic is AWESOME.
