The plot sounds interesting...I love these kind of movies, but I hate that sometimes it's hard to find a good one, well acted and with a good script.

Unfortunately I don't have any to recommend you, but I'll look for them :)

ARe you back in UK?

hugs

Val

yes, i thought it was interesting, besides, when a family secret is not interesting, right? ;)
and if i remember correctly, this film also got some recognition at festivals and stuff, so that made me even more curious..A lot of people who've seen it gave good reviews compared to the other ones, so yeah :)

oh, that's ok, don't sweat it, when i don't have to find one right aways, i can think of a million of them, but now that i'm looking for them, can't think of any :P

Yep, i'm back in uni and it sucks, cause the weather is nice here and all, and it depresses me when i know i have to study in good weather when i can go out and have fun :) So what have you been up to? it's been a bit of hectic days since i came back..

*hugs back* ♥

Nothing special, a lot of work, a lot of responsabilities, but I like my job so I can't complain.

One of my best friends got married last week and I has some birthday parties. Good time with hubby and my friends.

:) I wanted to go to Horrorfest SO baddly but went out of town for a weekend of parties instead! They're selling all those movies in Target...okay enough.
So if you like stupid horror films that are all about slashing up I guess I'd reccomend Black XMas. There's some really great scenes of people being slashed up and what ever. Although some scenes are unnecessary I guess in the end they work out. Of course I HIGHLY reccommend any of these Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, there's a ton more but I can't think of them at the moment. Oh warning, DO NOT watch Touristas. ;) enjoy!! (and i'm sure you've already seen the movies...but they're fun for an afternoon of nothing. )

:) ooh, good choice! Partying with friends instead of watching other people getting killed partying with friends :P
oh well, i'm a bit late for Horrorfest as well, so i was trying to catch up with it and reading reviews about the movies, and it seemed like this one had the most applaud from viewers..And it actually was not a bad movie, it seemed like it was gonna be boring at the beginning, but still i don't remember being all that bored to need to check my watch every 2 mins or thought it sucked out loud :) Only the acting occasionally seemed a bit too forced, other than that, it was good.
Ahh, yes, lately i'm craving for films where people being slashed :) i've seen the black xmas, and i think all Saw movies except for the last one -there were 3 weren't they?
I haven't seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre, cause i can't find it anywhere! >.< and i've been meaning to see The hills have eyes, so thanks hun, for the recs! But lol, i wanted to see turistas, haven't yet but did it suck that much? :)

Yes! there were 3 Saw movies. Touristas wasn't that bad, just the acting was forced and its not as scary/gorey as it should've been. best part: the Dr. guy was cutting out this girls internal organs.... besides that there really isn't much slash and blood.

ahh yes, i see what you mean..when i saw the poster i thought it would be all slashy, just the kind of thing i want, but then i saw the trailer and it was a whole other story..but i guess i could only watch it for the guy -can't remember his name right now, he also starred in tv show Las Vegas? yep, shallow me :) but i guess i'm gonna give the hills have eyes a try :)

You will keep me forever and ever too, right? I sure hope so!

And yeah, Touristas was okay, but not really what it should've been. Hostel was good, though. See No Evil is cool too.

But, if you want something that's gonna make you laugh your arse off, you should definitely watch Eddie Murphy's Delirious. It is so funny! Me and my sister quote it all the time.

Anyways, -hugs tight- Run my mouth to you some other time!

BTW, notice my icon? You made it!!! (You're probably like 'Duh, stupid,' but thanks for it again!

Ahh, are you kidding, hun, of course i'll keep you forever and ever!!! ♥

Ooh, i remember now i wanted to check out See no evil, but i can't remember what it was about now :) i think some killer just slashing people all over the screen :)
Delirious huh? now that you recommend it, i'm definitely gonna check it out soon, i love comedies, but smart comedies you know? Not like American pie or something, where you just laugh at people's misunderstandings or clumsiness, somehow i can't really laugh at those movies *pout*

Yeah, when it comes to movies, i LOVe to talk!! i'm a movie whore as well as a tv one xD

Yes, of course i noticed your icon :) when i saw that shot i really wanted to give him a hug, a tight one :)
