Oh man, i missed this show!!! :D
i've been seeing everyone on my flist writing down their thoughts and squees about the episode, i thought i was gonna die of curiosity. Anywho..
Dean as gym teacher??!! I wanted to update here the second i saw that, freaking awesome! XD
I really liked this episode on so many levels. Not only because it had flashbacks to the brothers' school days which was nice, to focus on their everyday lives rather than always seeing them as the badass hunters. And may i say the actors playing either of the boys were so good! On more than one occasion i was right there ready to mix the young!Dean with my Dean. His posture, the way he talked, the way he walked was all Dean baby! I thought he seemed familiar, but couldn't tell where from, but anyway he did an amazing job channeling Dean that's for sure.
And young!Sam was also a success. He had the same emo!look all over, and i could see that little kid growing up to be Sam.
The plot was also to my liking. I don't know, i always find high school dramas like this very watchable. It made me realize i never had a teacher like Sam's to inspire me. How sad. Where were those teachers when i was growing up?! And i felt sorry for that Barry kid (i hope i remember his name correctly), i felt for him. Too bad the brothers had to violate his bones :( And i also felt for the bully boy, you know? Weird, i usually always hate those jerks on tv or movies, which is what's being done, they're almost always shown as the bullies-and-jerks-now-but-losers-later-in-life. But there was depth to this boy's character; sad, but more real, so i liked that.
Overall, this was a good episode for me. I really enjoyed watching it. :)
And because i liked this episode so much, and because of the fact that i missed it, i made some icons! \o/
