Icy squeaks as the wind abruptly lifts her higher, then giggles and dives against it. Her wings are starting to burn from her exertion, but she knows she's doing well, and the knowledge encourages her to push herself further. Still, she's glad for the furry vest that she'd donned before she and Lex had left the castle.

Lex laughed and smiled as he swooped around her. "You've really gotten good at this."

She shot him a bright smile. "Thank you!"

"And stay awake." Her fine hair blew in the wind, but she reached up and pulled the hood of the vest over it. The fur around her face further broke the wind entering their small pocket of body heat.

She was still shivering a little, but she'd shivered worse.

Icy gave him a concerned look, one small hand going up to touch his face and body to see how cold he was.

Lex was definitely cold. The smallest of the non-children Gargoyles, even braced for harsh Scottish winters, he'd never had to deal with a blizzard like this before.

She paused and looked at him. "We need to get away from this thing. If the humans find us near it there will be trouble."

"Okay," Lex said, looking around... "I think I know where we are. There's a bakery across the street... big heating vent on the top."

"Something is wrong. You are tense. Do your toes or fingers hurt?"

She frowned and stuck her cheek to his, accidentally tickling his face with the fur on the edge of her hood as she tried to see how he felt temperature wise.

Lex felt fine, but he pulled back suddenly at the contact.

"I will be alright." She tried to wriggle loose, then squeaked slightly as the wind hit the planter hard enough to shake it.

Lex tried to pull her back. "We're okay here. I'll deal. Really."

She stopped and looked at the shine of his eyes, and then her own lit up as the planter shook again. It wasn't going to roll or anything, but anything that could move that planter would probably pick her up right off the roof.
