I took a break from writing, actually, most of the month. The part of my brain that deals with writing stories sort of fell asleep, leaving the comic book writing / drawing part awake and peppy -- see all the drawings at la_concordia. :) But it seems to be waking up ( Read more... )

my most loved author is umberto eco. i wish i could understand italian so i could sit in on one of his classes.

Neil Gaiman is my favorite modern writer, hands down. :)

But I'm a big fan of the Romantics. John Keats, Shelley, Byron, Coleridge...mmm...It's like candy. And a healthy smattering of the Victorians, Stoker, Christina Rosetti... From then, I like modern authors who have echoes of that Gothic style.
