Long Time No Post

Yes, but I've been keeping busy.  Lurking.  Writing.  Commenting once in awhile.  Cleaning.  Working once in awhile.  Amusing the cats.

And today I got a particular treat---coffee with the ever-lovely tonksinger who happens to be in my neck of the woods for the summer (actually, she's in a much nicer part of the woods, so I also got to gaze out at the ocean

I really need to meet Tonksinger while she's in town, but now that rehearsals are underway ... oh boy. It'll certainly be worth it, though, especially if we can get a group together. Shall we try for a meet-up?

She's not that far from Santa Monica, maybe we could aim for a beach (one further south, perhaps, so you don't have to come so far, either?). O, for a muse of fire and the ability to Apparate!

I'm going through three printed pages of rehearsal schedule spreadsheet, and the one constant is that there is not a single Friday on the list. Lunch or dinner at a restaurant where there's a book shop within walking distance always works. Or you guys could get together on a Saturday afternoon, and I could join you as soon as Marla sets me free. I'm perfectly happy to come up into LA as long as it isn't the weekend the 405 is shut down.

I'm brainstorming at this point, obviously. Any ideas?
