My SSHG Exchange fic has somehow managed to finish itself!  Early in the game it threatened to turn crack-ish, and once I had deterred it from that course, I then was very much afraid I had written myself into a corner, plot-wise.   Comes from plunging ahead without a plan of attack.  (Note to self:  Don't ever start with WIPs!)

Congrats! I've started my fic, but haven't gotten as far as I'd like. Partly, I feel like it wants to be really long and I don't really have the time to make it really long. Then again, if I translated time spent procrastinating into time spent writing, maybe the fic would already be done by now.

As far as a warning, I'd say if it's OOC, a warning would be good, but if it's dark in an in-character sort of way, you probably don't need one. That's my initial reaction, anyway.

I think it's kind of in-character, though that might be just because of the way I happen to feel in general about the character, but it is a rather major character (see how carefully I'm not giving away gender!). It's certainly something I would find plausible, but I know there are big fans to consider. I'm going to take my beta's advice, as well--I'd rather not give a warning, but I don't want anyone to be annoyed.

If I had a nickel for all the procrastination I've done, especially regarding writing, I'd be RICH! AND I'd have two more books written!
