Ooo, good luck with the new job. I daresay it would be better than the current one. And you'd get to see movies for free wouldn't you? That's always a bonus.

Yes, Logies, I am a sucker for awards ceremonies. Well, except MTV crap or anything like that. Just the good old fashioned ones. I just don't want Rove to get the Gold again.

I'm pulling for John Wood. And I still can't understand why Natalie Bassingthwaite is nominated. Urgh, I tell myself I hate awards ceremonies, but I watch and love them anyway. I hope Jeannie Little is there this year because I luff her the most ;)

Even if they pay me peanuts it will be better than what I'm doing now. And, yeah, if I get put on supervision I'd get to see the movies, but if I do get the job I'll probably just be in box office. I really really really want it so baaad. Thanks for the good wishes!

Hope the job interview goes well!!!! :)

Which Marlene documentary did you see? Was she still alive? There's one where she's still alive but she refuses to let them film her.

Thanks :)

Yes, it was that documentary with just her voice. It was really brilliant, and she was a riot. if you ever get the chance to see it, do, you'd love it.

I actually did see it awhile back and I remember enjoying it a lot. It's very different from your usual kind of documentary, and I thought it was interesting that it was produced by her co-star from Witness For the Prosecution. There's another one, a more recent one, that's also very good called "Her Own Song: Marlene Dietrich" that's very good too.

Yeah, I found it fascinating how they overcame that problem - I loved the jigsaw puzzle that fell apart and the shots of a TV showing a TV showing a TV and so forth, or seeing on film the director studying pieces of film... I just sat there ta the end thinking "wow". I'll have to check out that othe rone now - is it a more traditional doco?

This was posted in my Debbie Yahoo group today and I thought of you. I don't know if this is anywhere near you but it does say "One of the stops on Debbie's tour"

Debbie is in Perth at Burswood Theatre on Monday July 31st
at 8pm and 2pm and 8pm on Tuesday 1st August. Tickets will be on sale
soon through Ticketek."

YAAAAAAAAY SHE'S COMING!!!!!!

Perth is, however, on the other side of the country. But, if she's going to Perth, there's no doubt she'll be coming to Sydney too. Yaaaaaay! I think I may hyperventilate, I'm so excited. Thank yoooooooou!
