Actually, a theory similar to what your child said is going around, that maybe where the Doctor and Amy currently are is some weird warped space that really shouldn't be there, or maybe they're still dreaming that this is happening.
Other things to take note of.....the taunt "The Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know" now seemingly makes some sort of sense what with the...... shrapnel *cries*, it just increased the evidence that another Doctor is running around trying to make things right, one without a TARDIS.
Memories and "knowing" also keep popping up as themes, along with weddings, cracks, and running away.
Ugh my head is spinning, if nothing else, series 5 certainly makes you THINK.
That's pretty damn awesome. Isn't it just? *is proud mother*

Anything is possible (which is why it is fun! *g*), and I wouldn't put it past Moffat to do something like that. I think it's unlikely, but not impossible!
Other things to take note of.....the taunt "The Doctor in the TARDIS doesn't know" now seemingly makes some sort of sense Oooooh, I'd not thought of it like that. Mostly it reminded me of River's description of him in the Library episodes, but that could be a very interesting twist... Although they can't get rid of the TARDIS permanently, that's not allowed. I'm guessing it'll be more a case of re-writing history. Hmmm.

*gasp* of COURSE the TARDIS can't be gone! That's like.... the soul of the show! No TARDIS, no Doctor Who! I'm just saying something is probably going to happen regarding the Doctor running around with no TARDIS! And surely if things are going to be set straight, the TARDIS must be set straight too!
I'm going on a bit of a tangent here but I need someone to ramble to sometimes! Someone else mentioned that the situation surrounding the engagement ring is like the duck pond thing. Just because people can't remember Rory, doesn't mean he was never there, much like how Amy knew the duck pond was a duck pond even though there "never are any ducks". So yeah, I think this is going to be important.
*gasp* of COURSE the TARDIS can't be gone! That's like.... the soul of the show! No TARDIS, no Doctor Who! LOL! Well exactly! And as for a TARDIS-less Doctor, trying to fix things, that could be very interesting... Especially since it'd echo 'The Eleventh Hour' where he saved the world without the TARDIS or his screwdriver or anything! :)

I like it. Thank you!

Isn't it? I'm very proud! :)
I like that you're raising a little future meta-writer!
I like talking to them about stuff, it's nice to know that it rubs off a little.
