marketing and self esteem.

All too often, marketing consumer goods means implying or outright stating that you're not complete as a person until you have X product. It preys upon our self esteem so that we feel better about buying things, because if we have X product, we will be smarter/prettier/more efficient/etc. Thing is, I've found that tactic to be self-perpetuating, ( Read more... )

yup, one of the few 'spammy' messages I don't just sign myself out of. Sure, I'm unlikely to go there because they message me, rather than because i need more cards...but damn, they never irritate me either, so why not? :)

They're pretty good. I don't care that I get an email from them almost every day. I've had nothing but good quality and good service from them.
