OK one other thing I thought of - where is your house in comparison to the school? I've seen it get super backed up through the neighborhood there for pick up and drop off times - you might want to make sure you're not in the direct line to the school if you're picking lots still...

It is beautiful!!! I love it! Where is it at? Issaquah?

That fridge is insane - who has that much food in their house at one time??!!!

It seems perfect as is - I would suggest having the painting done before you move in. That way you don't have to move furniture, etc.

Thanks Sarah - it is in Sammamish near Pine Lake, but in the Issaquah School district.

Isn't that fridge craziness? I can't imagine!

I think we will have the painting done before we move it...seen as how we have time to choose colors!

Oooh...nice! We really like that area too. It is on our list:)

I can't wait to see what you do with it. So fun! What color woods are you going with?

You should totally move up there - I will be advocating for that area now! Their is a new elementary school right in the community (think like Issaquah Highlands but less urban like) and so we will be about three blocks from school!

We are doing the dark woods and dark cabinets!

That is how our kitchen is set up too and I just utilize the island for a lot of my food prep.

I still feel like I find myself walking around it a lot.. like I said, it's not a huge deal, but somehow I would like to not have to walk around hte island to go from the sink to the fridge. But I can't figure out how to fix it.

My cousin has a fridge like that and it's shockingly always packed with food. Of course, she has a teenage son, 2 grown boys, and a house full of guests coming and going at all times. For an average family, that's is just a bit too much fridge!
