How did I not know you two were looking for a new car? We are in the same boat. Well, we won't be getting anything right away until the house is a little further along. But the two you mentioned are the top two on my list. I was interested to hear you thought the X5 was underpowered. This is my dream car of course, but because Robert has a Tahoe, he thinks there is no need for another SUV. So I am sticking with the 3 series I think. I have a 328i right now and I am having a really hard time parting with it. I just love it.
Wasn't the weather amazing? I wish I could have just spent one day this weekend being lazy with nothing to do but sit outside and read.
I didn't realize you were starting to journal a bit more over here on LJ...good thing I came to check just on a whim while I was on here catching up on other people's journals! :)
Sounds like you're making a lot of progress with the wedding stuff! I think the ivory vest & tie would look fine. White shirt underneath, I assume, with a black jacket on top? Sounds good to me! What color of vests/ties will the other guys in your wedding party wear - have you decided that yet?
Test driving new cars, huh? For me that's both a fun & frustrating process. I love looking at & driving new cars that I'm interested in...but I HATE dealing with car salespeople! Ugh, that chick you dealt with at the Audi dealership would have annoyed me too. Glad you had a better experience at BMW!
Great table naming idea, with the local restaurants! How creative. I hope you're able to find a good calligrapher for your invitations quickly. That's a detail that I wanted to do, but wasn't willing to spend the extra $$ for it. But it looks SOO nice, IMO. :)
i was mostly a lurker on wc but have moved over to lj.
shopping for cars is never fun-- but what fun when you get to drive it off the lot. getting ready to start a search myself seeing as how my car dies weekly now.
what a fun idea for your table names. would be interested to hear what restaurants you came up with...being from seattle myself :)
Hello, found you through robertsbutton's journal. I just wanted to say that I LOVE your idea about naming tables after your favorite restaurants! It will be so fun to come up with the list of restaurants and relive your memories of each place. I'll continue following along here and would love to be "friended"! :)
I didn't know you'd moved over here too. I started with LJ a long time ago (a friend recommended it) and got so stuck on WC I would forget to post in LJ. I'll have to friend you. :)
