Last Tuesday morning we had an appointment with the colour consultant for the house. This is where you get t choose most of the colours that you're going to have to live with for a while. Doing it that way would bug me something shocking, I think I would tell them to paint everything white and then change it once I moved in.... you can't pick colours for a house from a colour chart before it is even built, you don't have any idea of the light play in the house.... but i guess it would have to be done this way though...

Yes, I agree - the colour we picked for the painting isn't really far off being white - it's a very, very pale silvery grey. It's the colours for the cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms that I'm keeping my fingers crossed about.
