Can anybody help with a bit of LJ fixing-upping?

So I have this spiffing new layout and everything seems to be in order, except for the comments on my entries.

As evidenced here, the comments don't start until the bottom of the sidebar, leaving all this blank white space one has to scroll through.

Here is what I have in the Custom CSS. )

The position:relative argument provided there in your CSS is simply placing comments 15 pixels higher than its original position. You can try different values, but I dunno that that's what needs adjusting..

I've seen this problem in a few communities before and I think it has more to do with the width of the horizontal line separating the body of the post from the comments section. (It's the line right above the link that says: "( Post a new comment ).")

If there is a place in the CSS where you can manipulate the width of that line to make it slightly narrower I would try that.

I can't figure it out! I keep scrolling through hoping something will jump out at me that might change that line, but to no avail.

I may just give up and resign myself to scrolling that extra bit every time. :P

Thanks for your advice, though!
