not a bad book. expensive people is one of my all time favorites...you'd probably enjoy it if you like that. i thought angelas ashes was just alright. i enjoyed mccourts relaxed style, but did you read the sequel, 'tis'? uhhh. it dragged on way too long.
im going to go with a 'no'. there was nothing that really stood out, aside from joyce carol oates.
i never read 'tis, simply because i heard it wasn't worth the time it took to read it. i wish i had more time to read for leisure, but even during the summer, i have a lot of school-related stuff to take care of. but i'll try to check expensive people if i get the chance.
this may make little to no sense, but i think my elitism is masked by my desire to be nice to people that i actually do like. i don't elitism is being bitchy, i think it's knowing you're better. if that is understandable?
