What are your views on:
The war in Iraq: I'm not for the war in Iraq. I think we need to get our troops and come home. They say that we are there because of mass weapons of destruction, however, I think we are there for oil. Other countries have threatened us, but we didnt fight a war then. I just think its kind of ridiculous.
Gay marrige:I believe it should be legal. America is known for being the home of the free. How can that be possible if we are not freely able to love who we want to love. What is that showing other countries, if we base our country on freedom and we put restrictions on an emotion. I think that love is to powerful an emotion and too important to put boundaries on it.
Abortion: I personally dont believe in it, I would never do it. However, I think it should be choice. If the government makes it illegal, women who are determined will just find more HARMFUL ways to get it done. I think we should be able to decide what happens to our bodies. Overall, just be careful and if something were to happen to you such as rape, consider your choices and choose wisely, you never know the possibilities a new life can bring.
The death penalty: I agree with it, if you have taken another person's life, your life should be taken as well. I know that two wrongs dont make a right, however, what else are we to do?
Pre-marital sex: Being a virgin, I understand the sacrety and importance of your first time and being in love with the person. However, being a teenager, I know the temptations that are among our hormones. I think that if you are in love and have been together for a long time, it is ok. I do not believe in casual sex, that can lead to bigger problems and possibly getting some hurt. Sex is a personal choice and if you are mature enough to do it, you should be mature enough to face the consequences.
Drug use: I do not believe in drug use. My aunt is in jail because of drugs and I have seen first hand what it can do to someone's life. I have vowed to never do drugs because of my neice Brynlee,she has to grow up without her mother, and thats something no one can replace. Not that theres anything wrong with growing up with someone other than your parents, its just important to me, my parents are divorced and I know how much I wish my mom lived with me.
Why are you an elite lady? I think I am both intelligent and beautiful. I think i have a very outgoing personality to bring to the community.
If you could change one thing about yourself [physical] what would it be? My skin tone, I wish i was a little bit tanner.
If you could change one thing [ mentally] about yourself what would it be? Standing up for myself.
