So my parents came down today, to help work around the house, etc. Well, Dad loves working outside so that's what he did. I had weeded pretty well already, earlier, so he went through and worked the soil, fertilized it, and planted a bit. In addition to what we had growing already in the yard (rhubarb, raspberries, and green onions) we now have

Putting some herbs along the south side could be good also. . they generally like sun, and are wonderful for cooking.

The soil's supposed to be up to a certain temp before you plant them out. . .but basically, if there's no chance of further freezing, you could plant them. . . .
