What would you do in order to follow your God or Gods and your faith? Antigone was willing to give her life for the honor of her faith and the honor of her family. It's really scary and frustrating in life, if one must go through those sufferings for what they believe in. I can't imagine how terrified it must've been for the jews to be hunted down and put into concetration camps. Also the fact that many Chrisitans were persecuted by the Romans in Biblical times. However, if one truly has a strong faith in God, then they can overcome anything. There is nothing to fear when you have your heavenly father protecting you and watching over you. Faith is a powerful thing. :)

Humans are just looking for an excuse to fight and die. Humans are simple creatures at their core, beyond that we just look for ways to exist beyond this mortal coil. The Vikings believed dying in battle was worth more than anything. So the question is, what's worth dying for today?
