They urban legend that really freaked me out when I was a kid (therefore became my favourite, I was a weird kid) was the one that where the girl finds her dead roommate and a writing on the wall that says "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the light?" I don't know if that story has an official name or not, but I loved it.
