Okay first- late memorial night my son's bike was stolen, we didn't notice it until tuesday morning 8a.m. because he had to ride his bike to school. I came home, he was still home. ikkkk. I called police, they came, searched the house, wrote the report said they'd look. haha. I'll look. I won't quit until I do. I looked tuesday from 8a.m.-3:30 p.m

I wonder if perhaps a face-to-face meeting with the teacher (when you are feeling a little calmer) might be a good idea? You could get some things clarified.
Maybe she could telephone or email you if there was a problem, so you could understand the situation a little better (after you have also heard your son's version) and respond appropriately.
Do you know if other parents are having the same sort of problem? If so, perhaps the parents could have a brainstorming session about how to handle it. A collective voice is often more powerful than a single voice.

I totally agree with the point you are making, but sadly in these days of rampant lawsuits, I think folks/teachers go overboard sometimes in trying to cover their a**es.
The son of a friend of mine was kidding around with a group of pals at school. He made a big, flamboyant arm gesture which accidentally hit a girl walking past the group. It was not done on purpose, but he got sued for assault by the girl's parents. The case eventually got thrown out, but it was a strain and a drain on his parents.
