Took Tasha car shopping this afternoon! It was quite fun. And I believe I drooled all over several cars and Hope had to tell me to stop being embarassing. Silly me! But Tasha was quite pleased with what she ended up with and now she just needs to finish her driving lessons and the car's all hers. Which, of course, means that Fiona and Emma had ( Read more... )

You are cooler! If I am any sort of judge. But you always were in my opinion! Thank you for taking Tasha shopping, I would have no idea what to look for as we all know. I appreciate it. You're gorgeous! And stunning! And vibrant! And age doesn't matter because...I called you vibrant!

Dear little brother. You did call me vibrant. And I'll ignore the fact that that's a laundry detergent for now, and take the compliment! So thank you! And you're welcome for taking Tasha, you know I love cars! And Tasha!

You didn't...lick any of them to claim them as yours, did you? Because you used to do that to my things. And that'd just be weird.

Oooh, I can't wait to see what she got! *bounces* This is so exciting. And it's wonderful that you had this time together, I know Tasha really looks up to you and admires you. In my opinion, darling, no one who can befriend and spend good times with so many teenagers could possibly be old. You're also much cooler than a soccer mum. Quartets and fast cars (because I imagine I can assume that much about Tash's purchase) totally pwn soccer.

I love you Liz!

Well I really admire Tasha. And all of you. You make it very easy to spend good times with you. But thank you, I will continue to pwn soccer.

I love you too!

I think so! Mine isn't happenin'. It's a toyota. I am so stealing Peter Bond's car.

I do have all those things! Though I'll keep to myself where they come out of! Thank you, Tamm, you're magnificent.

Not if he knows what's good for him! Really though, he needs that car because it's huge and he's going to have like 57 kids. I should have gotten him a minivan. Or a bus that says 'Patridge Family' on the side.

Man, I don't know how you do it! As good and confident about being a dad as I am feeling, I think it will take all my time and energy just keeping up with little Matthew, let alone all the people you find time to take care of! It's amazing. Tamm is right, I don't think normal time applies to you. I think you have some way of folding it and making it bend to your whims. It's the only explanation!

I'm excited about seeing Tasha's new car :D Shiny!

I make lists and have a day for everything. Ask Peter, it drives him nuts. He calls me hyperorganised and then I have to punish him and he calls me mean then. And really, Pierre, I think you're going to be a fantastic father. I work at a shelter. I see people who don't know how to be parents and that's not even close to you. I'm glad you realise that and are feeling confidant! Having kids has a funny way of giving one energy. You'll see!

It so is!

Haha, it would probably drive Del nuts if I did that too! Not that I would mind so much the punishing her, but somehow I think it would end up the other way round ;) It must be a dominant woman thing!

Thank you very much for your kind words though :) It really means a lot to me that everyone seems so confident in my ability to be a father. That is a huge part of my strength in this. When I have so many people to believe in me, how can they be wrong? I bet you're right about the energy thing, too. I don't know how else Dad would have kept up with me!

Women are good at that!

I think your dad could keep up with a rocket ship. He's..well...unique. I do adore the man!
