Personally, I dont think an abortion law belongs in the state constitution regardless if its for minor or not. I believe it should be set by the clinic on a clinic to clinic basis. Also a good percentage of minors include their parents on the decision for the abortion. Im not for abortion, But I am also not against it. If schools implemented better sex educations programs that not just warned the kids what the dangers are of having sex, but how to properly deal with one of those situations should it occur, I think there would be alot less of a need for the amendment. Most sex ed programs are "Abstinance is the only way, there is no safe sex". What they should be teaching is "Yes, Sex has risks, but here are ways to make it safer". Also these programs should encourage kids to include a parent or other adult in their decisions, there are more open minded adults than kids think. State constitutions are already littered with so many misplaced or off the wall amendments. If it should pass anywhere, it should be for a statewide council that ( ... )
