look, i'm going to go ahead and guess that i'm the stranger spoken about in your entry. and i'm gonna guess that you'll delete this comment too. you expressed your opinion, i expressed mine. i'm glad that someone who stood up against yours, maybe shook yours a little, is a psycho. that's a good way to return repect! yeah, go for the gold! hey, it's what bush does.

I'm guessing a friend isn't afraid to tell who they are. And a friend doesn't speak with such disrespect when expressing their opinions either. I repsect passion and opinions, but not when they're expressed to me from a supposed stranger who goes off on a tangent and calls me one of "you fucking people." Call me crazy but that doesn't seem like the way to get someone to calmly discuss anything.

i'm glad i'm considered a psycho. i'm also glad other people commented on what i had to say considering they didn't even see the original comment. if i had said it any differently, but still blatantly disagreed with what you said, do you honestly think you would have kept it up?

why do people have to prove points? LET IT GO. if this post did not apply to you, ignore it. this is HER journal, she can do whatever the fuck she damn well pleases, and i suggest you get OVER THAT as well. politics are a very touchy subject, and i believe it's bullshit that some people become irate when discussing politics, they feel a need to 'show the other person the light' or whatever. this is a free nation. you are entitled to your own opinion. just because you have that opinion, however, does not mean you have the right to bash someone else for an opinion that differs from yours.

for example: elizabethbennet here voted for bush, is an avid supporter of bush. i voted for kerry, am an avid supporter of kerry, and as you might think, she and i disagree on a lot of issues. but you know what? that doesn't matter. we're still great friends, and i love her anyway. we can just discuss issues from an objective point of view and not get carried away. she has an opinion, and i respsect that. so i do not encroach upon her

i'm not saying disagreeing is bad. in fact my boyfriend and i, much like you two, disagree. i merely expressed my opinion and said that kerry was not what she represented him as. i think this has been blown a little out of proportion. but hey, it's been fun.
