I wanted to use my turn on crack_van to recommend one of dearratboy AKA drworm's The Man from U.N.C.L.E. vids, but others beat me to all of them -- the nerve! So, I'll just have to use my belated return to Feedback Friday to finally thank the infamous co-founder of Thrushies for his highly addictive vids.

Hi! Uh, thank you for sending me the message about this post, it was extremely nice of you. I'm glad you liked my vids! And the Man from U.N.C.L.E. comic commentary, which I still have even more images for and so I should really make another post sometime. You did motivate me, however, to finally finish a short vid I'd been slacking on for months. So thank you for that! :D

Did they? I remember seeing the "Slow Hands" vid get recced, but I don't recall seeing any of the others.

You're welcome! Motivating you to finish that delightful little vid was a wonderful reward for my feedback. What a brilliant song for the MfU, especially the "Solo" part. I adore Napoleon, but his attempt at dancing with the teeny boppers always makes me laugh.

And I'm looking forward to seeing more images from the comics. Sad to say, but I'd probably enjoy reading all of them. After all, I read the entire young reader's book The Affair of the Gentle Saboteur. Hmmm, I really should scan some of the illustrations from that, especially the one of Solo in his bathing suit apparently stopping a helicopter with the power of his crotch.

I remember seeing the "Slow Hands" vid get recced, but I don't recall seeing any of the others.

Obviously I shouldn't check lists while I'm tired, I came across Slow Hands twice and mistook it the second time for Shadow Government. As for the crossover vid, I have no idea why I thought that was recc'd. I really ought to know better than to trust my brain these days ( ... )

For a little while, every time I watched that clip of Napoleon dancing, I would crack up. And I watched it a lot.

I'll try to get out another post making fun of the comics when I can. Nowadays I'm having to juggle all my school stuff and it's hard to get everything done that I would like to, unfortunately. I do encourage all scannings of hilarious illustrations from old Man From UNCLE books, though. They're just all so amazing.

However, the good new is I now have a head start on recommending Shadow Government at the end of the month.

I remember the joys of working and going to looneyversity at the same time. Having fun was difficult to schedule in.

myrebelcat and I have begun scanning, and the taupe line drawings look great on old non-acid free paper. Hopefully, sometime during March we'll have the pictures, quotes, and commentary to post on network_command and thrushies.
