Feedback Friday, a bit closer to Friday this time

Way back in 1980, when I was young, undiagnosed and unmedicated, I bought a first edition of Garfield at Large. I remember coming back from the mall, book in hand, to find my apartment building surrounded by firetrucks, and for a brief, halcyon moment I believed my evil stepfather had burned to death. This is a great rec/thank you. I must admit, I've never been that keen on Garfield, but Garfield Minus Garfield is oddly brilliant, and certainly disturbing in a way that the original isn't.

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying Garfield Minus Garfield. I haven't found Garfield funny since I was a young whippersnapper, but you've described the appeal of Dan Walsh's altered comics perfectly.
