Wow, you're the third person I know going for that. Scary. Is it a paid gig?

Not a paid as such. You get flown to NYC to record with Neil Gaiman himself coaching your performance. And you get to put on your acting / voice over resume that you did part of a Neil Gaiman book. It can't help but open doors and maybe help someone get an agent if they need one.
