Apr 13, 2008 22:01

Tonight's episode of Eli Stone is to the show what "Phase One" did to Alias. And people if you don't know the show Alias and there is one episode you are missing out most on, its "Phase One!" I don't think so much has happened in one hour of tv ever. But anyways, this post is about Eli Stone. Not Alias. *reminds self* Anyways, tonight's eppy ( Read more... )

Welp, as I said in my post, I just loved it. It got me excited to see where this show is headed, and you're right! The writing did show so much more confidence than other episodes.

I hope that it gets renewed so badly <3 I was a bit optimistic, when they said "Next week in our season finale..."

Season instead of series, made me hope that means Eli still has a chance of continuing!

*hugs* I had to have my roommate read the post to me cause it's hard to see out of my right eye after our car accident....

buuuuut onto your post... I agree this was a very big turn in the show, the one that makes it to the point of Eli not being a nutter, but actually being able to prove that there is this wonderful thing called faith.
I was happy that Maggie's fiance lived, because that provides the show with the ability to grow a deep love for Eli and Maggie. She will undoubtedly be in Elis debt, she will believe him more and more *which on the stand when she said she believed I loved that moment between them.* It said so much for the two of them...that one look that said no matter what I am with you, I believe you, and believe in you...and somewhere I love you.... *gasps* Those damn looks gotta love them... Anyways I am really looking forward to Thursdays eppy. I hope they keep it going it will be great... Live Brave Eli... ^^

Who do you think god will be? We are thinking it's George Michael..

aw, I am so sorry to hear that. Are you okay now? How are you typing if you can't even read??? Posts and fandoms can wait take your time and relax. :)

I am not nearly the romantic you are with eli/maggie. I always knew they are not going to let eli/maggie just be. There is going to be lots of UST before they ever happen. That is if there is another season. Guess we'll know by next thursday.

If there is a god, he'd probably have Michael Vartan's looks, Hugh Laurie's brain, and an Aussie accent. Or British. I am not picky when worshipping...

I LOVED IT!

I SOOOO cheered when the earthquake happened.

I have mixed feelings about Weathersby leaving the firm, though. Part of me wants a re-vote and he gets unfired, so the status quo will be returned, and part of me prefers Jordan start his own firm, and take all the key players with him to a new place and attitude....I guess we'll see what happens next ep.

Thats exactly what I was feeling. Who cares if they are kicking him out. Wheathersby is an outstanding lawyer and I am sure he won't have a problem building another law firm from scratch. He's done it before hasn't he. Who needs all those hands in the pot anyways? Then again, with people to answer to it remains complicated. And if he sets up shop somewhere else there can be an added plot where they battle their competition. The past differences (and left over lawyers at old firm) can add to the dimension.

For the sake of the set, I doubt they'd be moving anytime soon.

I was actually really surprised that some people on the eli comm felt that wanting a "fictional" earthquake was somehow disturbing? Maybe I am too jaded or something but I "crave" natural disasters. /morbid

*shakes head* Sounds like people with a tenuous grasp on the difference between REALITY and FANTASY.
Maybe they're suffering from brain aneurysms

I haven't gotten around to writing up a review yet (although I'll try to today sometime), but I agree with a lot of what you've said.

On one hand I can't wait for the next episode, on the other, I don't want it to come as that's all we have for now. I think *HOPE* ABC is going to renew it though. They do refer to it as the "newest hit" in the ads.

Anyhoo, friending you if you don't mind as I only have a few Eli Stone fans on my flist.

I am really surprised that ABC is not stretching it out for may sweeps!

I know what you mean. No Eli until September. If they have new episodes. There have been positive reviews in the media for the show and renewal shows prospect but with the whole writers strike thing. Who even knows if the network's going to pick it up for next season.

Sure, I'll friend you back. :)
