It was a near thing, but I'm still here.

Had some organ failure (kidneys + liver) and some lithium toxicity, but after a lengthy stay in the hospital and dialysis, I'm back at home and doing better than I have in weeks. Yay!

It was so scary. I was incapable of doing anything for myself...including feeding myself.

That's a very, very, VERY scary subject line. Whoa! I'm glad you've pulled through. Is this something you have to be worried about happening again? Or was it an out-of-the-blue-outer-space anomaly?

They think it was due to NSAIDs, and shouldn't happen again, as long as I never again touch a Motrin.
