That sounds so good.

I'd try it with pears, though, I really like pears and brie together.

I'm slightly torn. This sounds awesome, but Egg Daffodil is yummy, i rarely make it, and I can fix it all the night before and *just* bake in the morning, leaving more time for other goodies.

You're right. It would be delish with pears too!

I also like pear & camembert quesadillas--they're easy and SUPER yummy, especially if you get the really good, fresh, buttery & warm tortillas straight from the bakery.

That sounds delicious. Strangely taco cabana puts out some really great fresh tortillas, at all hours of the day and night... may have to try those soon!

Fin, you need to take at least ONE lunch a week away from your work. In fact, if you don't I'll have to /bonk you. So there. Set up a weekly day, make sure your boss knows about it, and go have lunch with elizagoth at least once a week. :P So there.

I was running late this morning and didn't eat breakfast. That was bad enough, but now I see your post about this delicious sounding breakfast. You can probably hear my stomach growling all the way down there.

Not eating breakfast is a bad thing, to be sure!

I swung by Taco Cabana and picked up an egg & cheese taco. No one wants to be around the hypoglycemic who skips breakfast!

finari, what time do you have to be at the cook-off? We could do this kind of early since I volunteered to run the Asylum in Dave's place. He was going to cover for Michael, who is going out of town to a con, and clearly Dave can't be there.

I don't need to be at the Asylum until 10am. elizagoth, when is good for you? Want to come to the Asylum for a bit after we eat?

The best way I can describe it is like a savory-buttery bread pudding. It's buttered bread soaked with egg/cheese overnight, and then baked. It's really tasty, even if I did get the recipe from a bitch who can DIAF.
