well, i am going to sweden for a couple of weeks this summer with my mom, but then i plan to wander off for a brief solo trip afterwards...so, i do not know what my choice is yet! argh! decisions!

at the moment, i am leaning towards either prague, for the architecture and history and awesome skull-filled churches, berlin (though i've already been), for the nightlife and insanely friendly people, or san sebastian, for the food. though i change my mind every other day.

when will you be in spain?

Barcelona works, but I'd probably go with Berlin. Or maybe somewhere I haven't been, like Warsaw.

i would also lean towards germany... as it seems to happen every so often: everything i'm listening to right now is from german producers.

you would love berlin. i can see you finding it quite aesthetically pleasing.

i am also going on a trip with my mom, to sweden, in the summer, and i plan to run off for a week or so by myself afterwards. currently trying to decide where i want to wander.

i'm tempted to go back to berlin for numerous reasons, one of the most enticing being that i love the music and nightlife it has to offer; berlin being ground zero for iamx, miss kittin, ellen allien, t. ramenhausen and so much more! yum! yes please.

go to the netherlands! i've only been to utrecht, but it's only like 20 minutes between there and amsterdam by train.

oh, i forgot the why:

-nicest (and most attractive!) people i've met in europe
-beautiful architecture and landscape
-FRIED CHEESE EVERYWHERE
-awesome nightlife

oh, i have been to the netherlands for the fried cheese. i actually took a 4 hour train ride simply because there was excellent dutch cheese waiting at the other end. mmm. cheese! :D

budapest because it is a city i have always wanted to go to, but last time i was hanging out in europe, it was a little too dangerous to go there. also it has beautiful architect, a glorious history and all these really awesome underground caves.

oh! such an excellent choice! i have been intrigued by budapest as well, for the reasons you list above, as well as the enticing hot springs. yum. plus, it looks like such a pretty city :)

i am going to sweden for two weeks with my mom in june/july, and then i am going to trek out on my own for a bit, or perhaps meet up with some friends, so i am trying to decide which cities i would like to focus on. right now i have like 40 on my list.

when are we getting dinner? i want to hear about *your* recent travels!
