John Edwards For President!
I just walked out of a giant room filled with people interested in hearing John Edwards speak about what he thinks the next president of the United States should be doing. I really like what I heard. Edwards repeated over and over again that one of the main things he wants is an open and transparent executive branch.

Don't feel bad if you were swayed by his speech alone. The ability to gain the support of intelligent people simply by giving a speech is a tremendous asset for a politician not only in getting elected, but in being effective after the election.

I've really enjoyed reading your posts. I'm glad life is good. I'm sorry life isn't great just yet. I hope the transition period doesn't last too long. We miss you here. But not so much that it precludes being excited for you.

Hi Pepper, This is your old friend and former co-worker Charles. I just had to start out by saying, dude John Edwards has no business being in the same post as your shower, get him out of there right now....
On presidential politics, I like Edwards too but I was listening to a NPR morning program discussing the Health Care crisis and the need for major reform which made it sound like Dennis Kucinich would be the only candidate willing to really try to fix this. Well, I know that he doesn't have much of a chance of winning a primary much less a general election which is a real bummer.
