Tomorrow, I get to go to what should be a really cool training session. First cool thing about the training session is that it is in San Francisco which means that it will take 2 hours less of my day than riding the bus down to Mt. View and back ( Read more... )

I too am mildly interested in your chance to see a presentation by the guy who wrote that book in Adrian's office that has those pictures in it.

I am enormously jealous. I borrowed his earlier book The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, and it's better than Beautiful Evidence. Fewer full-color graphics, but more about making graphs. Less artsy, more fartsy. How was the speech? I'm really interested.
