We even go out of our way to kill off other plants to allow them to grow better. What about trees in cities that are tended and watered?

Of course that all assumes they could just "decide" to produce such a toxin. Hey, can I decide to lactate beer? I'm sure I'd be pretty popular at parties. I'd better get on that with thinking. :)
