time to bake those cookies

It’s sugar cookie day! Although sugar cookie day may be tomorrow at the rate I’m going. No, no. It will be today. I’m determined. Last week I picked up a ziploc bag of little cookie cutters at the thrift store for a total of 54 cents. Today was supposed to be sugar cookie day for me too but I didn't do it. I will tomorrow most likely since I'm like your cousin in that I avoide family get togethers. I'll get to be alone in the morning which will be nice so I might get to make cookies then. I have a bunch of start ones I bought for 4th of July. I went thorugh my tags and couldn't find any pics though. I must not have taken pics of them. Darn. I only have pics of Easter and Halloween.
I hear you on the holiday crowds. I was going to go to walmart but opted not to at the last minute.

I ended up making the dough last night and chilling it overnight, and baked my first batch this morning. It was actually nice to do it first thing in the morning. Less distractions for me. hehe

I've only baked sugar cookies for Christmas, and this is the first time in several years. They're easy and fun, and I really like the idea of doing them for other holidays.

We'll just have to hunker down and this holiday craziness will soon pass. Hopefully.
