Excellent use of the descriptions in the book. I particularly like how you point to the Panoramic and desolate views of London. What's interesting is that in general too panorama would seem to create community, everyone is included in the sweeping gaze if you see what I mean. I don't think I agree about the idiocy of walking about (I mean H.F. is wandering the whole town). How will people eat if they don't venture abraod? send the servants? This seems morally questionable as well.
