Wow. Cool device there;) I'm impressed that she was able to just whip that up. Sounds like things are finally moving in the right direction.

I hope so. My goal is to push myself as hard as I'm allowed so when I go back to the specialist in a few weeks she can make a valid assessment of whether PT is working or we need to look at other options.

I've had plenty of jammed fingers, this one just feels / reacts so different.

Certainly if it's not better in two months, it's a different animal! I can't believe you put up with it for two months. Although I probably would have waited at least that long just because going to the doctor is such a nuisance.

Good luck with PT! I'm in PT for my knee right now and it's helping a lot. I hope it helps your finger too!! :)

Wow - your finger is still swollen? That's madness. It's going to take some time to recover after that much time.

Just don't overdo it with the PT, mmmkay?

I'm going to try not to since that will only make it take even longer to recover. She gave me a bit of a reference point on when to stop with my stretching exercises so that I don't over do it.

That's good - it's almost like she knows you :-)

Actually, I think it's more that she gets a lot of people that over do it. She was telling me war stories from some of her male patients that had pushed it to far. And I can't push too hard, when the specialist bent my finger and somewhat again yesterday at PT, I got light headed from the pain / reaction.
