It's so obvious in retrospect that I can't believe I didn't realize it before: The man recently announced as the GM of the Red Sox is not Theo Epstein, but his twin ( Read more... )

I think he's clean-shaven at the moment, but he has definitely sported a goatee at some point in the past few months.

...but this theory would work for exactly 4 seconds until fans started wondering why "Theo Epstein" suddenly grew three inches, put on 20ish pounds, and lost all his hair. He and Paul are fraternal twins, and aside from the blue eyes, they don't look alike at all.

Hilarious theory, though. My new theory is that Jed Hoyer is Larry Lucchino's illegitimate son. There are disturbing resemblances...
