The upcoming Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s should be fun, but the songs revealed in the official announcement of Guitar Hero III look awesome to me:

* Paint It Black (by The Rolling Stones)
* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)

Yes! I so totally agree!

Rocks thhe 80s wil be awesome by definition, but honestly I haven't been that impressed by the song list so far, other than Round And Round. No Scorpions? Shameful. (Of course, they could be one of the non-reveaed tracks, but I'm not hopeful.)

Meanwhile, Barracuda, Sabotage, Paint It Black, and School's Out should be *awesome* while many of the others are also just great picks.

"Cult of Personality" is pretty much my favorite air guitar song of all time, which might make me actually break down and buy the damned game...
