Got in from work yesterday and I notice something odd on the lawn.. Is that a crumpled up bag or something?
No, It's the fungus that ate NJ.

( I mean, look at this thing, it's fucking HUGE. )

Wow. That's a whole lotta mushroom you got there. Actually, I think it's kind of pretty. *grin*

It is at that, as I said.. the pictures don't really do it justice. It's a pinkish-oragnge color and the whitish bands are a really pale orange.

I'd suggest you eat it but it would probably kill you. Don't eat it.

That's disgusting. Mushrooms are not food. The only reason to eat them is to get high. Unfortunately, many mushrooms are poisonous, so I'd err on the side of caution.

Just keep a close eye on the dog and the spawn. You're pretty big and tough. My bet is it'll prey on the weaklings first.

we had a toadstool that was dubbed the toadbench. mother fucker was HUUUUUUUGE. at least 2 feet across. and it grew pretty damned fast too. it was cos of the roots from the tree we had cut down rotting.

at least that one is pretty. :)
