Woohoo and Lisa Cuddy's Skirt

Greetings!

My laptop is fixed! *dances* Woohoo! I could sing! (and I did!) My baby is back and it was all fixed and snazzy for $200 less than I though it would be. I was afraid that it was going to be so expensive that it would actually be cheaper to buy a new laptop. Not cool. Also, to top my happy, there is a very weak but viable internet ( Read more... )

Hey, great to see you around again! Hooray for getting your laptop fixed - and for it costing less than anticipated. Seems the reverse nearly always proves to be the case. :) I hope you're able to stick around now!

Aw, isn't it such a shame, though, when outfits that make you feel like you look really good prove to have less-than-practical drawbacks? Ah, the way of life... ;P

Elf! Pretty elfie... *cannot write because of complete distraction and must let ghost writer continue reply*

Ghost Writer: *clears throat and continues on in dry, featureless voice * Ella says that she likes your icon. Pretty, pretty icon. Want elfie...
*ghost writer is shoved aside*

Moving on...I am so happy to be back! I'm so glad to have my OWN laptop. *huggles*

Yes! Arg. One of my favourite green skirts has buttons up the left side that unbutton themselves. Very BAD. It quickly becomes one of my least favorite skirts but I can't bring myself to give it away because it's such a nice skirt in every other way. *sigh*

LOL! My Elladan. *pats pretty elf icon* ;D

Yay for laptops! They are wonderful things indeed - when they're working. ;P

Oh, argh, I've had skirts like that - just hate it when the buttons are like that. Have you tried putting in a stitch or two, to make the button holes just slightly smaller? Or even permanently stitching together the ones that you don't need to unbutton to get it on and off... It's been effective for me, on some very problematic skirts. And much nicer than getting rid of something I really like...

Ah Scarlet Pimpernel! *dies again*
Really, your icons are dangerous to my health. ^_'

I have actually made the button holes smaller, but it still insists on undressing me, so I might just have to sew at least half of them down permanently. Maybe the rest will be cowed into obedience...

Hurrah for a once-again healthy computer! :D I was thinking about you just the other day actually, wondering how things were going; glad you're back! *hugs*

LOL! Oh, but I sympathize with your skirt trials. I had a similar experience the first time I tried to wear ribbed stockings and awesome boots with a knee-length A-line skirt...and wore it to campus. Yeah, not the best outfit for traipsing around. Oh, the static electricity! Oh, the entanglement! *yanks back into place* It's always frustrating when you've got a really nice outfit, except for the fact that you have to keep adjusting it. In truth, TV lies. :P

You were thinking about me? *hugs you back* Wow, I feel loved!

Ooh! That sounds so cute! Now I know not to do that, and I would, because it looks very awesome in my mind's eye. Static is teh EVOL. Extremely evol. The only way to thwart static is to shun all other kinds of clothing and don spandex. This works because spandex is so utterly terrifying and/or shameful that static runs and hides. ;)

Welcome back! I hope to see more of you on LJ now! And especially with Nanowrimo coming up... ...You do do Nano yes?

Since you've been gone for so long, you might have to reintroduce yourself or something :P.

Hello, my name, well my sort of name is EllaBeth. *waves* I've been journaling for a while now, but when my laptop had some problems and the free wireless internet disappeared in my neighborhood, I fell off the wagon for several months. *sad nod*

I enjoy large amounts of reading, writing and long walks on the beach. ;) I have written along with others in the time-frame of Nano, but have never actually, truly, participated. *weak grin*

Truly, I am happy to be back! :D
