college has made me cut off from the real world. i start actual classes tomorrow and i'm worried i'll lose my first week friends. i'm determined not to. i would have wanted to find peter and emily even if ours wasn't just a convenient friendship

Did the Redbull truck come? Those are always driving around our campus...crazy asses...

And wow, those last two paragraphs make me wish I'd gone to college in a big city. Instead of a tiny glass bubble of a college town.

if the redbull truck came, i didn't see it. there were seventy thousand people there. it was absurd.

being in a big city is amazing for the opportunities, but kind of scary. peter and i were talking and he told me i HAD to buy pepper spray and that's scary. i don't want to think about having to use that.
