Also, I wouldn’t stress too much over CCD - I’m sure the kids learned a lot more/appreciate their religion and understand it more since you were their teacher. It’s CCD, and I highly doubt that any kid like going, no matter how religious they are. I know I didn’t like CCD one bit even when I had absolutely amazing teachers (which I’m sure you were)! So no, you DID NOT fail, you just dealt with the typical “bleh CCD” kid mindset the best way possible.

And I’m feeling good vibes coming from college letters. Not only are you smart and dedicated to absolutely everything you do (no matter how awful or boring), but you’re a wonderful person. Also, your overnight stay thing at Bowdoin went well and you fit in amazingly. So I’m not worrying about you getting into there whatsoever! :)
